Paper I: Marathi (60 marks)

Paper II: General Study and General Mental Ability

Paper I:-Marathi and English: General vocabulary, Sentence structure, Grammer, uses of idioms and phrases and their meaning and comprehension of passage.

Paper II:-
1. Current Affairs: International and National

3.Geography of Maharashtra: Physical Geography, Physiographic zones, Mansoon Zones and difference between rainfall, Rivers, Mountains, Administrative zones, Natural resources- forest and minerals, Social geography- Polulation,and migration of population- Sources and destination, their impacts, rural habitats, Slums and their problems, Sant Gadgebaba Gramswachhata Abhiyan.

4. History of Maharashtra: Social and Economic changes(1885-1947), imporatant personalities, Social changes, changes in news papers and education, National movement and other movements.

5. Indian Constitution: Making of  constitution, Objective resolution, Important articles and features, Center-State relation, Secular Government, Fundamental Rights and duties, Directive Principles of State- Education, Uniform Civil Code, independent judiciary.

Computer and IT: Role of computer, impact of computer on various fields, Data Communication, networking and web technology, cyber crimes-their restrictions and case studies, Indian IT Sector, various programmes of Govt of India- Media Asia Lab, Vidya Vahini, Gyan Vahini, Community Information Centres.
